Request a Correction: Whether it’s correcting a simple typo or amending a policy to better suit your needs.
Claims Support: In the case of a claim we will make the process as easy as possible; with clear instructions on what to do and the tools to do it. G1G claims support includes downloadable forms, and all necessary contact information to begin and follow up with your claims.
Renew Policies: In case your trip runs a little longer than usual, you may extend a policy through the G1G customer portal.
Request a Cancellation: If your trip ends early, for whatever reason, and you no longer require insurance, you may cancel your policy through the customer portal.
Visa Letter: With our sleek visa letter generator, you simply print the pre-populated letter and attach to your visa application when submitting for regions that require proof of health insurance in order to issue a visa.
24/7 Assistance: The customer portal gives you access to all the necessary contact information in the case you require emergency assistance while traveling. This includes, a standard 1-800 number along with a domestic & international number that accept collect calls so you can reach them at all times under all circumstances. Our support team can aid you in finding appropriate medical services such as locating a near by medical facility or medical evacuation. In some plans we even provide non-medical 24/7 concierge services!
The customer portal is also where you may seek guidance in retrieving pre qualifications for medical procedures since some policies require authorization from the insurance carrier. In this case, the customer portal will provide you with a phone number to call and seek the pre approval for your procedure. A cat scan or an MRI, to name a few, would be an example of such procedures.
In most cases the hospital staff will notify the carrier on your behalf, but is not obligated to do so. Therefore, the responsibility rest on you to inform the carrier. This should be done through the customer portal unless it is an emergency; in which case, forget the pre-approval and get to the hospital! In this instance, you may file the claim as soon as possible but we recommend waiting no longer than 24 hours.
Remember, G1G doesn’t leave you when the trip is over. After you have completed your journey, you still have access to the customer portal so that you can review your past policies or monitor claims.
