What happens if I miss my renewal date?

It is important to keep track of your policy's expiration date, since if you happen to miss your renewal date you will have to purchase a new policy. Most policies are renewable by simply logging into your customer portal, selecting 'policy renewal' and completing the form. We recommend that you do this at least a few days before the expiration of your current policy, as to avoid any gaps in coverage. (Keep in mind that most policy renewals take about 24 hours to process.) If you miss your renewal date, you will have to purchase a new policy, potentially making you subject to increased prices or a change in scope of coverage. Additionally, any claims filed on the previous policy could be considered pre-existing conditions.
